Armed with the recipe for a crowd-pleasing manchurian sauce that he gained from a chinese cook, 16 year-old Ravi set out with an automobile 21 years ago to serve gobi manchurian in the South Bengaluru area of Banashankari. Two decades on, Ravi Gobi seems to rule the heart of gobi manchurian enthusiasts in the city, as evidenced by the number of clients who throng his vegetarian walkway restaurant each evening.
